This year, Whatever had the opportunity to work on several projects for associations and foundations committed to high-impact social initiatives. Among these, one in particular took shape a few months ago, when our Head of Video Department, Luca Pischedda, introduced us to the President of the OLGA Association: an organization that brings the “culture of respect” to schools, companies, institutions, and all social contexts where the culture of violence still lives, hides, and all too often erupts.

The initial brief was simple: support the management of multimedia content during a speech in the main hall of the University of Mantua. But from the very beginning, the Whatever crew felt the desire to turn that moment into something bigger—something capable of truly amplifying the association’s message.

From this vision, a traveling format was created, designed to reach theaters and meet thousands of students. Today, at the Ariston Theatre in Mantua, the event “I DIDN’T WANT THE RED SHOES” took place, during which OLGA engaged with over 10,000 students, both in person and via remote connection.

On stage, together with President Giuseppe Del Monte, who shared Olga’s story through an intense and direct testimony, were also Vice President Gabriella Scaduto, Head of the Legal Department Fabrizio Manganiello, and Rosa Maria Di Maggio, Secretary and Head of Law Enforcement Relations.

Following the event, two episodes of OLGA’s new podcast were recorded live, featuring distinguished guests: Honorable Martina Semenzato, President of the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry on Femicide, and Paola Di Nicola Travaglini, Judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation.

The event was made possible thanks as well to the support of sponsors: Donna Moderna, represented by its director Maria Elena Viola and journalist Barbara Rachetti; Axept, with its co-founder Alessandro Carboni; and the Rotary Club Mantova.

Transforming this initiative from an idea into its full realization is a great source of pride for us. A special thank-you to the OLGA Association for their trust and for believing in our approach.

May this new format by Whatever carry far the story of “Mamma Olga.”
